26 people on the first trip to Lomond Shores and 30 on the second to Stirling.
We aimed to provide an opportunity to bring people together outside of their normal setting, to meet new people and form new friendships.
The majority were over 65 and some volunteers were from a local mental health group.
Everyone is keen to go on another trip soon and we will have to hire a bigger bus.The trips attracted a number of people from the villages who don’t normally have access to these social gatherings.
The Lunch Bunch is continuing to provide lunches every month, but we are looking to build on the interest from the more rural areas of mid Argyll and encourage those from more isolated areas to join us.
Reaching these is a formidable task but we are confident if we can raise the money for a few more trips.
