Keep Well with Local Produce

In response to food and health repost in the national media during January 2013 The Food and Health Working Group decided to raise awareness of cooking with local produce, rather than opening a prepacked meal.  Food purchaeses and preferences are based on convenience and budget rather than freshness and quality.  It was the perfect opportunity to work in the wider community in Argyll to demostrate that budget contraints should not exclude eating good local fresh food.

Attached is a report on the project along with an abstract which was submitted to a national conference.
